Swimming, surfing, bodyboarding, or fishing, there's room for all along this beautiful Kāpiti coastline. Lifeguards voluntarily patrol Paekakariki Beach (the club is the north end of Paekākāriki) each summer between November and March. The usual patrol hours are Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 5pm.
